Temari’s Rules on Love and Men

1. Forget the ambitious, greedy, powerful ones who act overly arrogant. Chances are they’re bastards and even if they’re not, they’re impossible to put up with because they always think they’re right.
2. Don’t go for the pretty boys with nothing in their head
3. Make sure the man isn’t too proud to beg
4. Love fucks you up. Be prepared.
5. Men don’t have clue. Spell everything out for them in BIG giant letters.
6. Pick one in the same village.
7. Don’t pick a wuss.
8. Make sure he gets along with Gaara and Kankurou, because I won’t turn my back on them for him, and I’d rather he not die.

Shikamaru’s Rules on Love and Women

1. Forget bossy, powerful, extremely tough, opinionated women. They tend to be really, really, troublesome.
2. Don’t pick someone too pretty or too ugly. Being too pretty makes for a curse. From what I hear those women are starved for attention and always want to be told their gorgeous. Besides, they’re always being ogled by other guys. As for the too ugly, well, that’s obvious isn’t it?
3. Make sure she’s somewhat intelligent. I don’t want to marry a bozo.
4. Love will screw you over. No dancing around this. It’s troublesome.
5. When the woman is angry, just nod and agree.
6. Pick one in the same village. Preferably not a shinobi.
7. Don’t pick a woman who can’t cook.
8. Make sure she’s gentle and kind. I don’t want to marry a bitch I’ll dislike so much I’ll disappear from home just to get drunk.
